You're so Wonderful for TupeloDesignsLLC

Wednesday, February 21, 2018

Hi friends. I'm sorry it's been so quiet around here for the last week. I just haven't been able to get myself to blog.  But I'm back today with a card for TupeloDesignsLLC featuring new goodies from Concord & 9th.

It's no secret that I have an all out love affair for all things Concord & 9th and one of their newest sets, Wonderful Florals, is so amazing. I started by heat embossing my image with some metallic embossing powder onto black card stock. I then used the Gansai Tambi Pearl Watercolors set to add some color.   I also used a couple of greens from the regular Gansai Tambi 36 color set. Lastly, I used the coordinating dies to cut the image out. I popped the image up with lots of black foam tape and finished with a heat embossed sentiment which is also from the same stamp set.

And there you have it - I absolutely love the way this came out and can't wait to use this set again. I'm already working on another card using it.

Bye for now. Crafty hugs!

Sending my Love for Whimsy Stamps

Wednesday, February 14, 2018

Hi friends and Happy Valentine's Day. I've got a love themed card to share with you today using one of my favorite stamp sets from Whimsy Stamps, Floating Hearts Background.

I wanted to see how some rose gold embossing powder would look on black card stock and let me tell you, I am in love with how it looks.

To finish off my card, I heat embossed a sentiment and rounded the corners to my card.

Thanks so much for visiting today. Crafty hugs!

Sending Love with a Koala for TupeloDesignsLLC

Monday, February 12, 2018

I'm back with another card for TupeloDesignsLLC. I've had this super cute Color Layering Koala set for a few months now and have been itching to use it.

I started by stamping the koala and its 3 layers with some gray inks from Altenew and my VersaFine Black Onxy ink for the detail layer.

I then die cut some older paper from Lawn Fawn and stamped my sentiment from the Color Layering Koala set.  Some sparkling clear sequins finish off the card.

I appreciate you stopping by today. Crafty hugs!

Warm Wishes with Whimsy Stamps

Friday, February 9, 2018

Hi friends and happy Friday. My card today features some fun products from Whimsy Stamps.

I first started by heat embossing the retired Winter Afghan stamp set with some white embossing powder.  I then applied ink over this.  I ran this panel through my Big Shot with the Geometric Snowflake die (currently on sale for just $9.99). I love this die as it cuts the outline of the image and then you get all the individual star pieces on the inside.

I ran the die again through my Big Shot, this time with some silver glitter paper. I pieced the insides of the snowflake back inside so that the card is flat.

I finished off the card by heat embossing the sentiment from the Grunge Snowflakes stamp set. And to finish it all off, I added some It's a Party enamel dots

Thanks for dropping by today.  I hope you have a wonderful day and weekend.

Happy Heart Day for TupeloDesignsLLC

Tuesday, February 6, 2018

Hi friends. I've got a quick and easy card to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC that features stamps and dies from Altenew and Lawn Fawn.

I started by die cutting both the Layered Kaleidoscope Cover Plate A and B dies from Altenew in shades of aqua card stock.

I then stamped one of the banner images from Lawn Fawn's Bannertastic set and die cut it out with the coordinating dies. The sentiment is from the newly released Sweet Friends set from Lawn Fawn.

I finished off the card with some heart sprinkles from Doodlebug.  Thanks for visiting. Crafty hugs!

February Whimsy Stamps Release Day 5

Monday, February 5, 2018

Happy Monday friends and thanks for stopping by today. I have a fun card to share today using another new set just released from Whimsy Stamps - Addicted to Rubber Stamps.

This set is so cute and is perfect for the crafty friend in your life.

For my card today, I started by taking the background paper and then stamping the fun t-shirt image. I love that it is blank so you can customize it how you want. I chose to add one of the fun sentiments and then a heart to fill up more of the space.

And that's all there is to it for this quick and CAS card.

Whimsy Stamps February Release Day 4

Sunday, February 4, 2018

I'm back today for Day 4 of the Whimsy Stamps February release week. I have a very CAS card today using the gorgeous Love has Four Paws stamp set from Whimsy artist Deb Davis.

You can see the entire February release and go shopping here

I started by stamping the large cat face image with some grey ink onto a light grey card base. I stamped the sentiment which is in the set in some deep red ink. As a final touch, I stamped a couple of the paw print images also included in the stamp set and then rounded the corners.

Since these were so easy to make, I made up a few of them to have on hand should I need to send any cat sympathy cards out this year.
