3 Celebrate Cards for TupeloDesignsLLC

Tuesday, October 17, 2017

Hi friends - thanks so much for stopping by today. I have 3 cards to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC, all using the super fabulous Celebrate Speech Bubble die from MFT.

As a reminder and in case you are new to my blog and new to TupeloDesignsLLC, the store offers FREE shipping in the USA with no minimum purchase required. International shoppers can also earn FREE shipping - click here for all the details.

For the first two cards, I stamped the background using the MFT Happy Birthday Background stamp set.

I then took some fun patterned paper and die cut it using the Celebrate Speech Bubble die. I also die cut it again with some silver sparkle card stock.  Both cards were finished by rounding the bottom two corners.

For my last card, I used some super fun patterned paper and added the same Celebrate Speech Bubble die that I popped up with foam tape -- lots of little pieces of foam tape. :)

Dog Sympathy Card for Whimsy Stamps

Sunday, October 15, 2017

Hi friends. I'm back today with a card for Whimsy Stamps. Over the last few months, Whimsy has released a few stamp sets for pet sympathy and they've come in so handy this year. Unfortunately, I've needed a few of these types of cards.

For my CAS card today, I started by stamping the paw print image from Furever in Our Hearts onto my card panel. I then stamped the dog image and the sentiment from Irreplaceable Friend onto a panel die cut with one of the dies from the Hand Stitched Rectangles. I popped this up with foam tape, rounded the bottom two corners and this card is complete.

3 cards with Neat & Tangled for TupeloDesignsLLC

Friday, October 13, 2017

Welcome friends. I'm sorry it's been so quiet on my blog for the past week or so. I was out of town teaching at the Whimsy Stamps retreat in Florida and then came back and promptly came down with a nasty cold. Blech.

I have 3 cards to share with you for TupeloDesignsLLC, all using some fun products from Neat & Tangled.  All 3 cards use stencils with some sort of embossing paste along with stamped and die cut sentiments.

For my first card, I started by taking the Pentagon stencil and applied some Ranger Texture Paste over it. I then stamped and die cut the sentiments from the Love Notes stamp set and coordinating dies.

For my second card, I used the Hexastar stencil with some Bo Bunny Gold Glitter Paste. I used the Celebrate stamp set and coordinating die for the sentiment.

My last card uses the Geometric Blooms stencil with the same Bo Bunny Gold Glitter Paste and the Love Notes stamp set and coordinating dies.

October Whimsy Stamps Release Day

Saturday, October 7, 2017

Welcome friends. It's the Whimsy Stamps release day and all the new products we've been showing you the last week are now available in the store now.

Before you go shopping, I have 3 cards to share with you today.

For my first card, I took various colors of Color Burst powder in blues and purples and created this fun background. After my panel was dry, I then white heat embossed the beautiful Snow Flurry Background onto it.  I finished off the card with an embossed greeting from Abstract Christmas along with some sequins.

For my second card, I used the Snow Flurry stamp set and gold heat embossed some of the images and a sentiment onto a background that I made using some various Distress inks in shades of blue. I'm sorry for the poor photo. I was having a hard time with the glare at the bottom.

For my last card, I started by heat embossing some water color card stock with the Snow Flurry Background set. I then sprayed the panel and added various shades of gold paints.  I heat embossed the focal image from the Peace Joy Love stamp set onto some vellum and then added it over a circle cut the same size of white card stock. Some twine finishes off the card.

CFC#184 -- Sketch

Thursday, October 5, 2017

Well friends, another Friday is here and it's time for a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays. This time, there is a fun sketch to work with (see below). I pulled out the beautiful Pretty Posies stamp set and heat embossed them with white and then blended in some inks over them.  I also blended in a bit of blue ink onto my background.  My card base was stamped with the Modern Petals stamp set in a muted grey color.

I hope you'll play along for your chance to win up to a $50 gift certificate to CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.  Thanks for dropping by. Crafty hugs!

Whimsy Stamps October Release - Day 5

Thursday, October 5, 2017

Hi friends. I have a super fun card to share with you today using the new CAS set -- Snowman Tidings -- from Whimsy Stamps that you can earn for FREE starting on October 7th with your $75 retail order.

We are also showcasing last month's CAS set, Meowy Christmas.

For my card, I stamped a couple of the trees and the snowman image, colored them and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I used some patterned paper for my snowy background and die cut it using the largest of the Hand Stitched Nested Rectangle dies. I also die cut two hills using one of the dies from the Stitched Border Die Trio.  I finished off the card by stamping the sentiments from the Snowman Tidings set.

Thanks for your visit. I'll see you back here soon!

October Whimsy Stamps Release Day 4

Wednesday, October 4, 2017

Welcome friends - I hope you are having a great week so far. It's day 4 of the October Whimsy Stamps release and I have the privilege of showing you the Oh Holy Night stamp set. This is a beautiful stamp set with gorgeous images and sentiments.

For my card, I made my first ever galaxy night background. I thought it would go nicely with the images and the sentiment.

I created my background using several colors of Distress inks. I then added black Distress ink over everything, allowing just a bit of the colors to peek through.  I then splattered some white paint over my background.

When this was all dry, I stamped my images and the sentiment and the card is complete.
